Judah Goes First

Anna Love. This is like our first prophetic act of the morning. We move from where we are, from how we came in. We move up to the front, into the altar, and present ourselves unto the Lord. It’s a great way to start your day. There are several different things stirring in me this morning. I thank everyone who came to Oxford; it was an awesome time; and Rick’s event yesterday was awesome, so it’s been a busy week. The Lord has been moving and I’m excited to be in that move; and that all of you are in that move. And to see what he is doing and is going to do.

In talking with my mom yesterday afternoon I was reminded of two words the Lord has given me, one toward the end of last year and one at the beginning of this year. My first thought in sharing them with you is, I don’t want to provoke fear in you. But then as I pondered, and the Lord began working these words in me and showing me where I failed in them, and where he’s bringing me, we do need some fear in us. We need some fear of God in us. I think that’s a lot of the problem, the issues that we’ve been talking about in the last few weeks and months.

It’s not a fear of man thing. It’s a lack of the Fear of the Lord. Because the Fear of the Lord is where we need to be to see change in our lives. If we don’t fear the Lord and honor him then we really don’t respect him. That might sound hard but you have to look at the truth for the truth.

The last week or two of December going into January, the Lord told me there was a purge coming. It wasn’t so much a purge for the world but a purge for the Body of Christ. That there was going to begin to be a great divide in the Body of Christ. That there was going to be a line drawn and that it would be very evident for those that were willing to submit and commit themselves, surrender themselves and come up higher in the Lord, than the ones that just wanted to stay in the same old stuff and hold onto their baggage, their ideas, thoughts or whatever.

I don’t know about you, but I want to be on the side that honors the Lord, that’s coming up higher, that’s willing to die to self. There’s stuff in all of us that we’re all working out. I think the first thing is to be willing, but the second thing is we need a great big dose of the Fear of the Lord. I think when we’ve been in this for so long, and you’ve grown up in the church, God is love and he’s all about love, but if we don’t have the Fear of the Lord, if we don’t have the respect for the Lord, it’s like a child with their father.

You know your father loves you, that he’s a good father, but there is a holy fear and respect in you that you wouldn’t do wrong against your father. In the spring of this year the Lord said that in that great divide, in that seeing the truth, in seeing apostasy and kinds of bad things rising up in the church as well, it was very important how we processed it. The Lord kept reminding me of Moses.

The children of Israel could have had 40 days but they chose 40 years because of their attitudes and unbelief and all their junk that they weren’t ready to get over. They could have done it in 40 days. It could have been a quick thing and into the promised land, if they’d just been willing, if they had honored and if they’d had enough of the Fear of the Lord.

When he was talking about Moses and the children of Israel, I kept remembering how, when they needed water, the Lord told Moses to speak to the rock, but he got mad and struck the rock. I want to read Numbers 20.

The first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. They quarreled with Moses and said, ‘If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord. Why did you bring the Lord’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock would die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink.’

Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell face down, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said to Moses, ‘Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so that they and their livestock can drink.’

So Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence, just as he commanded him. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, ‘Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock? Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.

But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.’ These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the Lord and where he was proved holy among them.

It’s very important how we respond in this hour, that we don’t respond in anger. And it’s also very important that we listen to the Lord and hold to his words. But because of situations or individuals or being tired or whatever—the little foxes that spoil the vine—if you don’t feel like it, you’re not as nice as you should be. I think the Lord’s getting down to the nitty gritty.

We say, I’m tired. I’m worn out. I’m busy. That’s why I’m acting this way. That’s really an excuse, me first. Or I’m offended. I don’t like what they did. Can you believe they did that to me? Can you believe they said that? Get over it. Me first. It’s time to stop letting the little things become such big things. I’ve been saying the last couple of weeks, Let’s just get over our junk so we can do the stuff. Because it’s right here within arm’s reach. And I don’t want to be like the children of Israel.

I want the Lord to do a work in us in a matter of days, not years. Our promise is before us. The Lord is bringing back so many words to me that he’s given to me personally and words given in this house, and he’s laid out the instruction for us. Words from the Word, words from prophetic revelation, or words from an unction of the Holy Spirit. All the words that have come in the last six months are instruction for us.

Because the Promise is here. He’s trying to instruct us. He wants this. Heaven wants this. They are watching and waiting for the sons of God to be revealed. Honestly, this is our revealing hour.

Whenever the Lord told me in December that a purge was coming, he said it was like a storm, like a great wave. It’s interesting to look at that and see what’s happening just in the natural with all the flooding that’s going on right now, in our state, the death of livestock and animals and wildlife. All the flooding, the disaster that’s happening in our land. I would say there is a purge going on in the natural. There’s a purge going on in us as well. I feel like in me, maybe in you as well, it’s been like a pulling, this contending thing, this pulling back and forth.

The Lord is saying we can’t be tossed by the waves. We can’t waver between two opinions. We’ve got to choose. It’s that dividing line. We have to choose what we want to do. You get to choose the measure that you walk in in this hour. I don’t know about you, but I’m going on with the Lord, with Jesus.

I love the revelation Wanda had, that Steadfastness is standing in this house. If you feel like you’re falling or drowning, or don’t know what’s up and what’s down, hold onto Steadfastness because it’s here. Hold onto the Lord because he’s always with us. I hope this is making sense and grabbing hold of your heart, and that you’ll be willing to Change.

I love this. Dutch Sheets said that to repent is not always just turning away from sin. It’s not always a sin issue. But one of the definitions of repent is to completely change the way you think. So any preconceived ideas or old mindsets that we have, any ungodly beliefs that we have, let’s repent and change the way we think. I want to think with the mind of Christ. Because it’s available.

Everything that we need is available. It’s time to start operating in what’s available to us. We ask for resources, for provision, for all these things. The Lord tells us we can ask for them. But let’s start using the things that he’s given us. Let’s start tapping in to those things that he’s given us that we don’t think about. We have access to it. So let’s use it.

This is encouraging. Be strengthened this morning. Let the strength of the Lord rise up in you. Because even though some of these things may sound hard—the Fear of the Lord and all of this—the Lord, because he is a good Father, he is making sure we get everything that is available to us. He’s making sure there is no place for the enemy. He’s making sure that when we enter into this promise, we enter in fully ready, not prematurely.

Because how many times have you asked for something and you’ve waited and waited and waited and thought it was time, that then it wasn’t time, and you finally got it, and you were so thankful for the timing. You were so thankful it wasn’t before. So he’s not going to do anything for us that we’re not ready for. In these next few days, and even today, these next few hours, let the Lord begin doing the work in you to make you ready for what he has for you.

Because he is ready to bring increase to us. I want to finish by reading Isaiah 40:31 MSG. Why would you ever complain O Jacob, or whine, Israel, saying, “God has lost track of me. He doesn’t care what happens to me”? Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.

He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired, gives fresh strength to those that dropout. For even young people tire and drop out, young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don’t get tired. They walk and don’t lag behind.

Father, I thank you for these words this morning. I thank you for your Word. I pray that you will go deep into our hearts, that you will reveal to us any wicked places in our hearts, Lord. Father, I thank you that the strength of the Lord begins to rise in this house. I thank you for a greater measure of the Fear of the Lord, because the Fear of the Lord brings repentance. It brings a turnaround.

I pray that honor, just as the apostle released the word on honor, we honor you, Jesus. We honor you as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We honor you as our Standing King, as our Dread Champion. I thank you that Victory is in the house this morning. We acknowledge Steadfastness in the house his morning. We acknowledge your angels and your warring angels. We acknowledge all of heaven standing with us and the heavenly beings, and the Stars.

Father, we acknowledge all that you are and all that you have for us. I pray that we will be more in the heavens than in the earth. That we will have an awareness of the reality of things. Don’t let us get stuck with the patterns and the old cycles, or stuck in the things of the past, or stuck in the things of this world, just in everyday life. But bring us up higher.

Lord, I thank you that you are taking hold of our mind, will and emotions. Change us from inside out. Rewire us. Give us the mind of Christ. Let us process things, think about things, respond to things how Jesus would respond to things. Bring conviction to this house, Lord. Bring conviction to me first. Break our hearts for what breaks yours.

Lord, I thank you for every person in this room, for every individual, for every family. Father, I thank you for every father, every mother in this house. I thank you for every child in this house. I thank you that you are working in families and in hearts.

I thank you that just as you said a new prototype is rising in the apostolic, I thank you a new prototype is rising in the family, and even all the seven mountains will look just like heaven. We’ve not been this way before. Lord, we don’t know how to do it, but we know that heaven has the blueprint. We ask for those blueprints this morning. And Father, as you drop them down to us, we take hold of them. We don’t let them fall to the ground.

But I thank you that Change is here, and that we embrace that grace to change. Just as the apostle, my mom, told me that lately she has been acknowledging Change as a being coming into our home every morning. And we acknowledge that that being, Change, is in this house. And Lord, I thank you that change will not be something that we fear any longer.

I thank you that that mindset, that belief, that we don’t like change, that change is hard,—you are ripping that off this morning. I thank you that Grace is coming in and is clothing us. Grace is coming in and taking hold of us, and we embrace that change. Change me, Lord. Change me from the inside out. Like I said, break our hearts for what breaks yours.

I thank you that you are raising up a strong and mighty army. That the remnant is rising.  The remnant is coming out of the wilderness. And the remnant is not rising broken and bruised, but the remnant is rising strong in you, Lord. We’re not coming out sick, but we’re coming out whole. I thank you that this is not a time to be sick but a time to be whole.

We take hold of the wholeness of Jesus. We take hold of what you did on the cross. We acknowledge your blood that speaks a better word. This is your house. We are your people. We present ourselves unto you this morning, Lord. I thank you that you are dropping your plumb line in every person in this place and watching, even the people that drive by, even the people in this city, and this state. I thank you that it goes out. I thank you that it goes out and rings out that you are dropping your plumb line in every person, in every heart, that you are bringing righteous and right alignment.

No more wavering between two opinions. I thank you that right now you are breaking split personalities. That’s what it is. If you are one way at this place, and one way at home, and one way at work, that’s what it really is. It’s a split personality. We say, No more. Me first.

Father, I thank you that you will make us the same yesterday, today and forever, like you are the same yesterday, today and forever. I thank you that we are the same. We are who you’ve called us to be around all people in all situations; but we rise up in our sonship in you, Jesus Christ.

I thank you that identity is falling in this place like rain and no one can outrun it. That no one can get away from it. That we’re all getting wet this morning. Let your glory fill this place. I thank you for peace. I thank you for joy. I thank you for Rest, Lord. I thank you that we haven’t been this way before. We throw off the old. We throw off the old and we step into the new. Break the patterns. Break the cycles, even in the processes of the church.

We step fully into the new. You are the head of this house, Jesus. You are our Apostle and our High Priest, and we submit every way, every will, every thought, every belief, every motive, unto you. And we bow before you, King Jesus. Have your way. Have your way in us. Have your way in this worship. As we step in, I want everyone to remember why we’re here. Remember our focus. Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. I think the biggest thing this hour is that our eyes are fixed on the One that our heart loves.

And we need to make sure that our focus and our love and our heart is set on the One who is above all other things. Let’s worship.

?To worship you I live. I live to worship you.

Nita Maselle. I see a window. And I’m hearing that there is a 2 to 3 year window, that we need to prepare and get ready to be able to give our testimony in a way that’s going to determine the outcome of some people that are going to be ready to hear it. There may be people right now who are not ready to hear your testimony. But God wants you to prepare your testimony.

Everyone has a revelation of Him that’s specific to you and your life and what you’ve gone through, and what you know of him, your revelation of him. And he wants you to prepare in the next 2 to 3 years. You have that time frame to prepare it. You can get up and give it. But can you get up and give it with scripture?

He wants you to hone your testimony in this time. He’s giving you a 2 to 3 year window to prepare that testimony. Because he’s made everyone of you specific, where you have walked through, where you have revelation and power to give out to others. He wants you to get refreshed, get reminded, get it down, get the scripture, get ready. Because the people that may not be ready to hear your testimony in the past. Maybe you haven’t had as much opportunity to give it. It’s coming. It’s coming.

And in the 2 to 3 year window that I see, your testimony given with scripture is going to come with a demonstration of power and life, and I see that people are going to be pulled out of darkness, out of the shadows of death in the earth, and pulled into the light of God, in power. You’re going to receive. You’re going to be ready. You need to be ready to hear it and ready to give it.

Practice. Practice at home. What’s my place like? What’s my position going to be in this great move? What has he given you already? What has he already done in your life that has your testimony, that has the power of God on it? Get it ready. Get it ready. You’re going to need to be ready to give it out.

It’s going to determine the walk of those people that are going to be ready to hear that. It’s going to determine how they’re going to be able to walk in. It will determine their future. This is an assignment on you, on everyone of us right now. Prepare in this window. He will help you. He will teach you. Get it down. Get it down where you can give it to a light post. Be ready. I just see that.

Father, I thank you. I thank you for the window of opportunity, for the window of preparation that you’re bringing us into, to prepare us to be used in the kingdom, at a time that’s going to be more profitable and more useful that we’ve ever been used before. That we’re going to be able to give our testimony, and it’s going to deliver people out of darkness. It’s going to bring revelation and life, life, life. We’re going to get life from it.

Father, I thank you that you prepare us. We yield ourselves to you, Holy Spirit. We yield ourselves to this and we say prepare our heart, prepare our mind, prepare our soul, prepare our walk, prepare us, Lord. So we don’t have to go look it up and find that word. It will just come out because we’re going to be so prepared for it. Lord, I thank you for that. I thank you for that opportunity.

?Prepare our hearts.

Nancy Pitts. When I went to Bible School we learned something different. Praise and worship are not the same thing. And the way we prepare is to worship. If we are going to prepare during this window, we have to change on a dime the way we worship. Worship is not when we come together and raise our hands and sing songs. Worship is what we do every moment, even when we’re alone. Worship is different than praise. In the morning I get up and I praise the Lord, and I thank him. That’s one thing.

But when I interact with my students, when I interacted when I was in Oxford for days, not just with the needy. When I interacted with Jacob when we were eating supper, there’s my act of worship. What am I doing? How am I treating him? It is time to worship God at all times, because during worship, his feet are on the earth. This is his footstool.

And if you don’t think washing feet is going to bring change, you’ve never had your feet washed. It is that kind of time. It changed the one who broke the alabaster box and washed his feet. It changed everything for her. And it changed those around her. It’s time to worship.

She worked for a long time to be able to bring the alabaster box before the King. It not only changed her, but her testimony of that time; and that effort, when it broke, changed the atmosphere. You could smell it. It brought out the darkness in the room and brought change, even to those who judged her. It’s time to worship.

?We worship you, Jesus, with our lives.

Danette Riley. Lord, we worship you. We honor you. Lord we exalt you. We lift you up. There is no other name. I love your name. We welcome you into this place. We thank you God.

I see the courtroom and I hear the Lord saying, “All rise. The Judge is about to enter.” And Lord I thank you that you are the Ancient of Days. And Lord we are here and we rise. We rise in reverence and honor of who you are.

Lord, we just thank you that Time is here. He says as we surrender to Him, that Time will surrender to us. And Lord, I thank you that we are in your time. I thank you God that we are clocked in.

I thank you that this is your docking station today. The Lord said this is his Docking Station. Like a phone or other device he is syncing us so that we don’t sink. As Anna said, it’s all about the timing. It’s the Fear of the Lord and being so close to him, hearing his voice, doing what he says.

?I will build my life upon your love. It is a firm foundation. I will put my trust in you alone and I will not be shaken. We build our lives on you, on your love Jesus. You are our firm foundation Jesus.

You’re promise still stands. You have never failed me yet. Great is your faithfulness. I’m in your hands. This is my confidence. You’ve never failed me yet.

I’ve seen you move the mountains. You made a way where there was no way. I believe I’ll see you do it again.

Danette Riley. The Lord says, “Old ways will not open new doors.” Woe to those who go down to Egypt. He said, Woe to those who go down to Egypt. Lord, we thank you that we stand in your counsel and we hear what you say. We stand in your counsel and we hear you. And Lord, we thank you for timing.

We thank you that you are drawing us to you, that you are drawing us to you, face to face, Lord, so that we are not presumptuous. The Lord is removing presumption in areas, as Anna said. Behold, he is doing a new thing. A new thing. And if it’s a new thing, that means it’s a new thing. And old ways will not open new doors. Praise you Jesus. Praise you Lord.

Lord, I thank you that you carry me and I speak what you would have me to speak. I submit to you and I thank you Lord.

Through these months the Lord has been talking to us individually and corporately about timing and the 9s and 911, like Amos 9:11. The reaper is going to overtake the sower. And Zechariah 9.

What I’m about to say is not to make you afraid. But we are in a time of the letter Tet. It looks like a womb. It’s also a container. But then there is that snake in that container. We’re in a time, as always, of choices. The Lord will let us choose. He’s pro-life. But he wants us to make correct choices. He’s saying in this 911 time that it’s a time to stand in his counsel and  hear what he has to say.

He is defining the lines in the body of Christ. He’s drawn a line, a Lion, in the sand. He’s drawn a line. What he’s saying to me is that sometimes we think he has our undivided attention, but we get preoccupied with church things or notebooks or phones. The Lord is saying, I want you to sit with me in these face to face times with all distractions to the side, so I can spend time with you and build relationship with you. He wants to minister to us and build relationship with us. He wants to spend time with us.

Oxford was absolutely wonderful. The Time to Plow. How beautiful it is when brethren dwell together in unity. It’s like the oil flowing down Aaron’s beard. A wonderful time. A culmination. I’m not just saying a culmination and convergence because other people are saying it. It’s just the time. So the Lord is really impressing on me about timing. I’m not talking about buzzwords on timing.

It is truly now more than ever that we must be in the right place at the right time. And as we are synced in Him—it’s the play on words. The enemy wants us to be distracted. God is syncing us; and the enemy wants us to sink. And we’re not. We’re going to be in the right place at the right time.

In order for us to do that, the Lord has been talking to me about presumption and preconceived notions. I’m humbled and honored to have been part of the intercession going on behind the scenes for A Time to Plow and even here. I had never been to Oxford or The Inn. I saw a man who had baggage standing at the rotating (revolving) door at the hotel.

I had no idea that type of door was there at The Inn in Oxford. But the Lord said to me as we interceded to pray that there would be no preconceived notions going into that meeting. No baggage. No knowledge of, This is how God did it here or there. But to check ourselves at the door. Because he was doing a new thing. So that rotating door, for those who were able to do that, not just at that meeting but wherever we are, then you’re able to go forward.

But he said for those who will not, who choose not to do that, then they’re going to stay on the hamster wheel. You can just keep going around and around and around. So he gave me a picture of what he was doing. What an honor that he would trust us with the New.

So we are in the place that we are because he ordained it, because it’s true. We were born for such a time as this. So we are the ones. He obviously purposed and had something in us that is needed and required for this time. I would say part of that is the Lion heart—the Lion of the tribe of Judah. The Courage. Because it is hard to go places where you’ve not been before. Nobody really likes change. It’s the Lion. It’s the Courage.

I’m going to David. He was a man after God’s own heart. And many times you’ll hear, David inquired of the Lord. So he inquired of the Lord. Did the Lord tell him to go to battle the same way each time? No. When Anna talked about Moses and the rock. Moses was angry and did it his way. He didn’t listen to what God said. Before, it WAS strike the rock. Old ways will not open new doors.

The Lord is saying to be like David and inquire. Inquiring minds want to know. We have the inside track. When we sit with him, he said, I will reveal the secrets that have been hidden for generations. He wants to share with us. It’s the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out. So with the plowing, he’s saying we’ve just scratched the surface. He wants us to go deeper. And when we sit with him, the world will tell you and other things will tell you that you don’t need to, that that’s being lazy. We’re just siting there.

The Lord ordained Rest. And he said to several of us here, Factory Reset. We are being recalibrated in him. The Lord is saying to us that we must be Voice Activated—that’s the 911. To be Voice Activated. I’m not talking about the voice of the enemy. I’m talking about voice of our God. So when we sit and we plow, another word for inquire is to plow. When we inquire and seek of the Lord it means to slit, rip, split open.

Some of these things we do subconsciously. We’re not intending to not fear the Lord. But as Anna said, when we do not inquire and wait and hear, then we do not have a holy reverence of God. I have asked, Lord, any familiarity I have with you, that you’re just one of the guys, that I would not only love and respect him, but stop and hear what he has to say. He does love us and he wants us to have relationship.

Lives are hanging in the balance. We are indeed at a place. It continues past the 70 Days. The decisions we make today will affect the rest of our lives. That’s the truth. Our ‘self’ can trip us up. Of course the enemy is trying to trip us up. He does not want us to go and possess and occupy our land. But he’s a liar.

I want to bring out that we can plow in silence. We can plow in silence. I mean that as we sit we can hear what the Lord has to say. When I sit with the Lord I just sit. I don’t do a lot of talking and asking for stuff. I just sit. I learned this over time. There was a time when I couldn’t stand to be alone. There are people who can’t stand to be alone with their own thoughts. And I was there.

I am giving testimony and testament to God that in all of my experiences, that he has given me the ability to quiet my self in him. That’s also with the plowing. Just be quiet and be still and listen and hear what he’s saying. In a five or six second exchange with the Lord he can solve so many problems. So what does the enemy do? He wants to change times and seasons. He wants to get us off track. Off track can mean doing busy work, church work, all kinds of work. Or no work.

But we can flow and be in sync with him. Betty has taught, Practice His Presence. He’s here. We are able to get silent and be quiet even when we’re doing things. He will allow you to do that. Be silent and hear what he is saying.

When David was inquiring of the Lord, the word ‘bakar’ is used. It means to break forth, inspect, admire, care for, consider, search out or seek out. When we inquire of the Lord, another word for inquiring is to gush over, to swell, to desire earnestly by implication, to ask.

So when we inquire of him and we’re able to plow in silence, then we can hear what he’s saying to us. And then we’re able to do it. Silence makes people uncomfortable. Have you ever used silence as a weapon? I mean, I never have. Have you? (Laugher) Silence is a weapon. And it can be a good weapon.

We get on the phone and tell the enemy what’s up with us. The Lord told me years ago, The devil cannot read your mind. It was part of a prophetic poem, but you have to tell him to get behind. But what we do sometimes is give him the ammunition. So silence is golden. And there are times to be silent and be still. He said, Be still and know that I am God. That he’s got us. And that we can plow in stillness.

The Lord also says about the plowing that there are areas he wants us to trust him. When he plows us and he opens up our heart, it hurts. So we’re in a place at this point where he is saying, I know you. I know all of you. I created you. I can see things that you cannot see. Allow me to remove the walls from the areas I want to heal. Trust me that I can see things that you cannot.

I know the Holy Spirit is our teacher. He is our guide. The Lord is our healer. Now, do we need each other? Yes we do. But there is nothing like when we sit at his feet and we let him teach us, and we let him tell us what the issues are. And he will. I know in my own life, when the Lord tells me something, it’s a lot better received that when someone else does it. Because he comes in and he can tell you all kinds of stuff. It can be some very hurtful things that you’ve done or said or whatever, but by the time it’s over with, you’re okay. He has a way of coming in and let’s deal with this and move on. So he wants us to inquire of him.

He led me to Isaiah 30:15. This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says, In repentance and rest is your salvation. In quietness and trust is your strength. But you would have none of it.

Lord, I repent for the areas in my life that I have not trusted you, where I would have none of it. And Lord, I thank you that you said we would rule from a place of rest. That we would rule from a place of rest. So I thank you God that you drop the plumb line of Rest in us.

And Lord, we thank you that you said, As you rest in Me, I’m going to arrest the enemy on your behalf. He’s going to be arrested, as you rest in Me. It’s about the timing and it’s about a different set of weapons. We are the weapons. And silence with the enemy is a weapon.

Isaiah 32. See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice. Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert, and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

Then the eye of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen. The fearful heart will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear. No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected.

For fools speak folly; their hearts are bent on evil. They practice ungodliness and spread error concerning the Lord; the hungry they leave empty and from the thirsty they withhold water. Scoundrels use wicked methods; they make up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just. But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand.

You women who are so complacent, rise up and listen to me; you daughters who feel secure, hear what I have to say. In little more than a year you who feel secure will tremble; the grape harvest will fail, and the harvest of fruit will not come. Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure.

Strip off your fine clothes and wrap yourselves in rags. Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines and for the land of my people, a land overgrown with thorns and briers—yes, mourn for all houses of merriment and for this city of revelry.

The fortress will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted; citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks, ‘till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.

The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling-places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.

He is pouring his Spirit out from on high. And he wants us to be in the right place. And he wants us to be in the right time with Him.

:18 My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

The Lord gave to Betty and others about coming home. In a word to me he said, I am calling you to be at home with me. So He is our peaceful dwelling place. When we come home, even here at 416 Pine Street, House of God, when the Lord said he was calling us home, he’s calling us to pitch a tent, to tabernacle with Him, in ways we’ve not done before. He won’t make us do anything.

He has said to me more than once, I just want to spend time with you because I love you. The creator of the universe, I want to spend time with each one of you because I love you.

Father, I thank you for your dwelling place. I thank you God that we can rest securely. I thank you that you are calling us into the cleft of the rock. I thank you that you are calling us, that you are hiding us under the shadow of your wing. That you are our resting place.

I thank you Lord that as we tabernacle with you, as we pitch a tent with you, that’s where the mantling comes. That’s where the mantling and the covering comes. Because we are spending time with you. Hahaha. He said, Quality Time. Quality Time. Lord, I thank you for this settlement.

I hear him saying this is like the colonies were established. There were various settlements. And Lord, we declare and decree that Miracle City Global is your settlement. Lord we thank you that you are settling. I hear him say, I am settling. Allow me to settle you. There are some areas. It’s a reckoning place. There are those of us who are standing in the valley of decision.

I see the crevice between a mountain and I see someone’s foot. It’s like the space between is getting larger and you feel like there’s a decision—do I jump or do I stay? The Lord said, Let me settle you.

And then he also said that there is settlement, and then like in a court case. Lord, we thank you for your decisions. We thank you God for the decrees that come out of heaven on behalf of each one of us in this place. And Lord not just us but every person we are aligned and connected with. We thank you God for your settling.

We thank you Lord that you are settling us and we are being settled in you. And Lord we thank you that cases are being settled. I think the Lord is saying there are cases in the courtroom of heaven and they are being settled, settled. There are those of you who can expect a settlement. You can expect a settlement.

Praise you Lord. We honor you God. We thank you Lord that you teach us how to plow, that you teach us your ways and you show us what to do. I thank you for every place, every person. And I thank you that you give us the ability as you rearrange us and settle us, that we rest securely in you and what you are doing. I thank you for it in Jesus name.

Mid-Morning Service

Kimble Love. Welcome to Miracle City Global today. We’re here to worship the Lord and rejoice in the things he is doing. Thank you, Anna, Danette, Nita, Nancy, everyone who released those words this morning. God is doing a new thing. And he’s looking for people who are seasoned in the ways of the Lord. It’s time to start walking in your anointing. It’s time to start releasing your testimony as Nita said. Because we’ve got a world full of people out there that need to hear truth.

What Anna shared this morning. We don’t see a lot of things because we don’t have the Fear of the Lord operating in our lives. You know what kind of fear we have operating in our lives? It’s the fear of man. If you have the fear of man in your life then you’re a little short on the Fear of the Lord. Because if you fear the Lord, if you reverence him, if you are bold enough to seek his face and hear his voice, then you better be willing to do what he says.

And if you want to see God show up and show out in your life, then walk in obedience to his Word. We’re in a new era. It’s time for us to be who God called us to be. The world doesn’t have a very high opinion of the word ‘Church’ anymore. You know why? Because we’re not operating in the fullness of all that he called us to operate in.

You can fear man and miss God. I don’t want to miss him. I want to be in the midst of everything that he’s saying and releasing and commanding us to do. I want to walk by faith. And I want to walk in power. And to walk in faith and power, then we have to obey his word and do what it says. And not be afraid of what people might think of us.

When we first began to walk as a child, we didn’t hit the ground running. We took baby steps. We fell, skinned our knees, stubbed our toes, bumped our heads. Do you remember learning to ride a bicycle? Did you have a bicycle wreck? Have trouble starting off? Tipping over, that sort of thing?

Stepping out in the things of God are like that sometimes. You may trip. You may fall. You may stumble. But get up and dust yourself off, and move on. Walk by faith and not by sight. Seek his face while he can be found. Take hold of the truth that he has released and deposited within you and run with it. It’s time to run. It’s time to be about his business. It’s time to open our mouth and be counted. I’m not talking about beating up anyone who disagrees with you. But release the truth of God in love.

Love those that are unloved. That’s the problem with the Church. We want to love everybody in the church. And that causes the church to become a club. We’ve been clubbing long enough. It’s time to be about his business. So let’s focus on that today. Let’s open our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our spirits, to allow the Lord to show us the places where we’ve fallen short, to show us where we can shore up areas in our lives. Where we can truly come to that place where we humble ourselves before him. And our greatest desire in the earth is to please him, not to please people.

Lord, I ask you today to pour out your Spirit upon us. Lord we are your people, the sheep of your pasture. Bring us into a place where a stranger’s voice will not direct us. That the opinions and the faces of men won’t be our source and our guide. But that you, Lord God, would be our all-in-all, our good good Father, the One that leads and guides us in all truth. Lord, that we would be carriers of your truth, workers of your signs, your wonders, and your miracles. To walk a cut above the things of this world. And to demonstrate your grace, your mercy, and your love.

So Father, we honor you today with our hearts, with our minds, with our souls, and with our spirits. Lord, we worship you this morning in spirit and in truth. And Lord, we say come and have your way. Show yourself mighty because you are a mighty God and our mighty Father. Instruct us; teach us; show us the way in which we should go. And Lord may be forever walk in it. Father, we bless you today in the precious name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.

Shofar

?We go from glory to glory. You’re taking us higher. We’ll never be the same. We’re forever changed. We cry, we shout holy holy.

We worship you and acknowledge your presence this morning, Creator God. He is Yahweh. The Great I AM. He is Yahweh. The Three-in-One. He is Yahweh. The Righteous Son. He is Yahweh. You’re holy and eternal. He is Yahweh.

You steady me. Your perfect love is casting out all fear. We receive your perfect love.

Love of God, overflow, permeate oh my soul. Fill us up oh God. Fill me up. Yahweh.

Kimble Love. Praise you Father. Father, we celebrate who you are, what you’ve done, what you’re doing, and what you are about to do. As we worship in this moment, we focus on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. we are here today to honor you, Jesus, not only with our praise and our worship, but Father, to honor with that which you have so blessed us with. Jesus freely gave of himself, gave his life. Today we have an opportunity to freely give unto him.

Today as we come, we bring our tithes, offerings and first fruits, the increase that the Lord has so graciously blessed us with. And to sow just a portion into his kingdom. To see it come forth; to be blessed and see it supernaturally multiplied not only in this house but in your house. God gave us the ability to produce wealth and I declare that we are wealth-producers, spiritually, physically, whatever way that God so deems. We are equipped and ready.

As we come today with our gifts, we come to the table of the Lord to participate in Communion. The Word of God tells us that on the night that Jesus was betrayed he met with his disciples in the upper room. While they were reclining at the table, Jesus took bread and broke it and he said, This is my body that’s broken for you. Whenever your eat of this, eat it in remembrance of me.

And then he took the cup, and after giving thanks, he blessed it and said, This cup is the new covenant in my blood that is poured out for you. Whenever you drink of this cup, do this in remembrance of me.

So today in obedience to the Word of God, the very command from Jesus’ lips, we’re going to come to his table. We’re going to eat of the body and drink of the blood. We’re going to take that spiritual DNA of God into our bodies, and come into agreement with who he is and all that he’s called us to be. To say Yes to the New Covenant that he has made us. That covenant of salvation, of deliverance, of healing, of provision, of prosperity, of everlasting life in his kingdom.

So Lord, today we thank you for the bread. We thank you for the cup. As we partake, we remember your pain, your suffering, your sacrifice, your death, your burial; but praise God we look at and celebrate your resurrection. That you’re no longer in that tomb. That you’re evermore at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. And Lord we joy in the fact that you ever live to make intercession for us. We praise you and thank you and give you glory. In your name we pray. Amen and Amen.

?Peace be still. I’m not gonna be afraid or fear the waves. You are here so it is well. Even when my eyes can’t see I will trust the voice that speaks.

Peace over me. Let faith rise up in me, oh heart believe. Peace that passes my understanding. We receive your peace. You walk among us. You’ve brought me to the end of myself. I’m letting go. Falling into you.

You are reminding me of things forgotten. Until I’m totally undone. You’ve won me. Peace over me. Let faith rise up in me. Come have your way here. A living sacrifice. We yield to you Lord. All we have. All we hope to be. I surrender all my life.

Betty Love. Lord, we release the glory of your presence in this place. And Father, we come into agreement with what is written and ordained in the heavily realm in Christ Jesus. Father, I thank you for the perfect destiny, the ordained days that you have prearranged for us even before the foundations of the earth. Our days were recorded and written in your book. You have a redemptive plan for every life in this room.

Father, I thank you that you are for us. And your Word says if God is for us, who can be against us? So Father, I thank you for the now of heaven—now worship, now word, and now works. For the very words that have gone forth in this house, the sounds, the songs, that have brought us to this place this morning.

Father, even as Mallory came and shared with me that she saw a reset in the frequencies of every part and piece of our body, our being. The Father was bringing us into proper order and alignment. She said the song and the sound was doing it. You’ve got a Holy Ghost adjustment in here today.

The very message that is coming forth is going to bring another adjustment in your life and my life. It’s already come to me first. So as this word goes forth it’s come to me, through me. This is an opportunity for you today. A life-changing opportunity for you and me. Our destiny, our purpose, and our birthrights are hanging in the balance.

I know Nita is not aware of this, but I had an intercessor call me yesterday with a word from the Lord and a vision she had seen. And it was a two to three year word. The word of the Lord that came through Nita this morning is that in this two to three year period you’ve got a window of time that the Lord wants you to build a testimony. He wants you to bring your testimony into alignment with his kingdom plan and purposes. It’s a catch up time, if you will.

The word of the Lord that was spoken to me yesterday at about five minutes till noon was, Betty, you can either hear this word, and this house and the plan of the people that are aligned with us will go ahead and enter in; or you can not heed the word of the Lord and for the next two to three years, we’re going to deal with cycles and circles and debt; and we will not come out of what God desires for us to come out of.

It’s kind of like a 40 days or 40 years in the wilderness. But the word was upfront, if we will deal with this issue today, we won’t see two to three more years wandering in the wilderness, wondering what happened, and waiting on our promises to come forth and manifest, not only in our lives, but in the lives of our family and in our spheres of influence. Because everyone has influence in this room, regardless of age. Because you have an influence on the mountain of society that God has set you on. Yay God.

So Father, again, apart from you we can do nothing. We are going to embrace the grace of God to change. Grace is the supernatural ability in you and me enabling us to do what we can’t do with our own strength. Forgiveness is knocking on our door today. You received a rock. It’s a weapon either way you slice it. It’s a weapon you’re going to use to take down you Goliath or it’s going to be a weapon in your hand that is going to keep you from entering into the promise and plan of God, until you’re willing to allow it to become the weapon it needs to be. That rock also represents a Rock, and his name is Jesus Christ.

So Father, I thank you again for the now of heaven. I thank you that so is the word that goes out of your mouth that it will not return empty. It will not return void. But it will accomplish all that you are sending it to do and have sent it to do. It will prosper in the hearts and the lives of those the hearers of this word, this message. Whether they are in this house or watching now or will watch the recording, this word is for you; and it will accomplish what the Father is sending it to do, on earth as it is in heaven.

So Lord, I thank you that the Revelator is here, that the Teacher is here. His name is Holy Spirit. And Lord, may everything that we do honor your name. In Jesus name. Amen and Amen and Amen.

We have a Powerpoint and there is the word:

OFFENSE

This morning we’re going to deal with a word called Offense. If your first reaction is to say, I don’t have any offenses, I would say you need to look in this mirror and you need to look again. (Tall stand up mirror at podium.) It’s getting down to the nitty-gritty. We have been in a three year window since January 1, 2017, when Anna came out from behind that keyboard on the day that Kimble III passed and released a word from the Lord in her mouth, and it was an on-time word. That it was time to get serious about what God was saying, that lives were hanging in the balance.

And we have come to a crossroads place again. Are we going to enter in and take possession of the promises of God and see them manifest in our lives, or are we not? I want to share with you this morning as Holy Spirit directs, three definitions of the word Offense and just exactly what it means.

1) An offense is the breach of a law or a rule. An illegal act. Synonyms are crime, illegal, unlawful act, misdemeanor, breach, violation, infraction of the law, felony, wrong-doing, wrong, act of misconduct, misdeed, delinquency, sin, transgression, infringement, short-coming, fault, lapse. Anybody ever have a lapse? I know I have. Trespass, malefaction. A thing that constitutes a violation of what is judged to be right or natural. Also comes under this breach of law or rule.

It is a thing that constitutes a violation of what is judged to be right or natural. The synonym for this would be an affront, a slap in the face. Have you ever felt like you got a slap in the face? Insult, outrage, injury, hurt, injustice. How many of you have ever said, That’s just not right? That’s an injustice. Slight, snub, indignity.

2) The second definition of offense is annoyance or resentment, brought about by a perceived insult. Or an insult or disregard to oneself or one’s standards or principles. In other words, you have a set of values and principles and someone violates that. Or you perceive that they violated that. That’s a place that offense can come in. Because it can be perceived or it can be real or it can be imagined.

3) Offense. The action of attacking someone or something. This is where your rock comes in. Reductions in strategic offense arsenals. Synonyms: attack, offensive, assault, act of aggression, onslaught, thrust, charge, sortie, sally, invasion, incursions, foray.

In sports we know in basketball and football when you have the ball and are about to make the play, you’re on the offense. You are going to move that ball down the field or court to make a score.

I believe the only kind of offense the Lord wants us to have is the one where you and I are going for the goal. An offense against an enemy that is his enemy. And I saw that with offense comes strategy.

The enemy will use an offense when you are offended at someone or something to become the very strategy that is going to take you out and sideline you. Or offense can become the strategy that God is going to give you to go into your promised land, or to possess the promise or the word that he has given you. So we are standing today and the Lord is saying, You are going to choose what you are going to do.

I came to the crossroads in Laurel on my way here this morning. It’s Hwy 84 and 16th Ave. As I sat there I had a birds-eye view of the two vehicles in front of me. The smaller car, a Nissan, had on it, Devastating Diva. The vehicle next to it was a van and it had a Life tag on it—Choose Life.

The Lord told me, You can have Miracle City or you can even be in a miracle vehicle, but if you are a Devastating Diva—I’m not talking about ravishing beautiful; I’m talking about a Devastating Diva that brings destruction with the words of your mouth and harbors bitterness in you heart.

If the church is a devastating diva, she’s not choosing life. And that vehicle might be faster than that passenger van, and it might be able to get somewhere quicker, but in the end it’s not going to be able to bring very many people with it. It’s called on-the-job training.

The origin of the word Offense comes from an old French word meaning misdeed. From Latin it means annoyance. It means a striking against, a hurt or displeasure. It’s also based off of ‘strike against.’ I believe that the Lord is ready to put his word in your hand, his rock in your hand, even as he put the rock in the sling of David, and hurl it at your enemy and take him down. The place that rock made contact with Goliath was the place of the skull. What goes on between our ears has a lot to do with what comes out of our mouth. And it’s connected to our heart.

I believe the words in the room this morning are a setup. I already had the powerpoint sent. Already had everything done. Already had the message before one person opened their mouth. So it would do us well if you’re here today because he is talking to us with the word that Anna brought, and that Nita released, then when Danette was teaching, and the word that Nancy brought, because all of it is one word. It’s his word.

TAKING OFFENSE

Offensive Security. Proving Grounds. The Lord wants to bring his word and his heart into you and me in such a way that we have Offensive Security. Offense and how you deal with it becomes your Proving Grounds for your promotion. We cannot operate in the strategies of old. It is a brand new day.

Danette your word was, Old ways will not open new doors. Basketball Offense. The Fast Break Offense, Primary Play.

Proverbs 19:11 “Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense.”

Proverbs 18:19 NIV An offended brother is more unyielding than a fortified city, and disputes are like the barred gates of a citadel. (of a city) I don’t want any barred gates here, do you hear me? I don’t want a brass heaven. I don’t want any blocks in your life or mine. I don’t want any thing to stop the destiny that God has ordained for you and me and what he has ordained for the body of Christ in this hour.

As I said, yesterday morning right before noon Wanda had tried to call me. I was on my way out to Rick’s event downtown that we support, and I had everything in my arms ready to do and saw that she had called. The Lord spoke to my heart and said, You call her back. She has something. So I called her back. And she had a hard time, hated to say what she had to say to me. A lot of this is going to be paraphrased.

She is part of an intercessory inner circle—and don’t be offended by that. We have intercessor teams that operate and function in different areas of ministry. We’re an apostolic hub. We have other ministries that are aligned with us. Depending on where you want to go and how you want to build, your foundation is very important. And nothing happens apart from prayer. So there are different prayer teams. We have something that is called the Joint Task Force and it is an inner circle of intercessors; and if it gets through them, we’re in trouble.

Anna, Kimble and I decided a long time ago and told this group, no holds barred. We don’t want to cover up anything. If you see something, you have a responsibility to let us know. Can they miss it? Absolutely. But let me tell you something. When somebody comes to you and says, I see this and this and this and God is saying you better deal with it, it is a very unwise thing—even if your enemy comes and says you have this and this and this—I’ve learned over the years, it’s a good God thing to go before the Lord and bare your heart before him and say, Search me and know me; and is there any grain of truth in what they’re saying?

And let me tell you something. I can get a bottle of pure water back there and have Brad go dig up a teaspoon of dirt and put it in it; and how many of you are going to want to drink that water? Well, maybe we’ll just sprinkle a pinch. I wouldn’t want to drink it if a pinch was in it. How many of you want a pinch of dirt in your water?

So Wanda said, I was in intercession and I had a vision. I was standing in heaven before a counsel and heaven was concerned. They had a scroll rolled out, and on the scroll was CONCERN. Then she had a vision of a situation where I was listening to what was being said and I was offended by what had been done to someone else. My first thought was, Well, that’s not operating. Whatever was said in that situation, yes, it burned me like fire, because it was an injustice, an injustice, an injustice. It wasn’t right. There are some things you ought to not say.

So that fire burned in me, you know what I’m saying? And I had to deal with it. And I had dealt with that. But at the same time, I knew better. I ended up being on the phone with her for an hour as she outlined different things. Got out of the car and walked up to Anna; and she’s walked with me long enough and said, What’s wrong with you? I said, Nothing.

Heaven is concerned about the house because if I don’t deal with this in my life, we as the house will never go into the destiny that God has ordained for us. And she said, As the Apostle in the house, if you open the door to offense, we will spend the next two to three years wandering, and the provision God as ordained for us in every area will not come. It will be delayed.

I didn’t have to stand up here and say a word to you. I could have just dealt with it back there. You understand what I’m saying? But it’s not just about me. I saw at times in my life that I’d been just like Moses, heard the Lord; and he said, Strike the rock—and struck the rock. And then in a moment of anger—how may of you struck the rock when you weren’t supposed to strike the rock?

She also cautioned me this, because she could hear the fire and the passion in me. It’s not Betty. Terry might not know this but I couldn’t stand up in high school and give a book report, but she does know, this is Kimble’s Aunt Terry from North Carolina and we’re glad she’s here this morning. She remembers me as a little girl and how shy I am. So don’t confuse when correction comes.

But Wanda is the scribe and she re-listens to every message and she types them out. And she said, I perceive that you had a bee in your bonnet in some of the places where you are speaking to the body—and she didn’t say it quite like this but I got it—you were striking the sheep. You need to make sure when that comes out of you it’s not coming from you out of offense, but that it’s coming from the Lord.

Mmm, I can’t believe she would own that one! Two to three years? 40 years in the wilderness? Until God raises up someone who will surrender their heart and admit when they’re wrong? None of us is perfect. But I tell you what. I’d rather have a David leading me than a Saul all day long. Because in the most gross sin there is redemption and forgiveness.

David never would have met our standards. He would have been dethroned, impeached, out! But God. Because God is going to look at the heart every time. Nita, did you know about the word that Wanda had? I knew she didn’t. Because you know something else I know? This is a trusted intercessor. You know why they’re the inner circle? Because they can call and say something like that, or I can admit something, and it’s not going to the whole world. Or they won’t have their job very long. And I won’t have mine. It’s honor and it’s ethics. And we’ve failed at both before.

But Nita said this morning, the word of the Lord through her mouth, that we have two to three years to get your testimony straight. Be prepared because God is going to platform you in places so you can release your life story in Christ.

What Wanda said to me is, Betty, the Lord is going to platform you and this ministry nationally and if you don’t deal with this now, you are going to embarrass us when you stand on that platform. You will not be taken down but you will stumble.

And she said I see a wobbling, like in and out of dimensions with the Worship Team. And the Worship Team is saying, Oh God, now she’s about to get us! No, I’m getting the whole house. Because Judah goes first. And we have got to deal with the life situations that are going on. If you’re one way here and another way at home, there’s something wrong with that. And the Lord is ready to bring down walls of hostility between husbands and wives, and parents and children.

Chris Vowel stood in this house last Sunday morning and brought a tremendous word of God. Something I had never seen in the Word. How many times have we read the scripture out of Malachi and even in the New Testament, I will turn the hearts of the fathers toward the children? And miss that He said, I Will? This is it.

It’s serious. The meaning of No Offense: I don’t mean to be rude. That just means, I’m about to insult you but don’t get mad. You should have heard her on the phone yesterday. How many of you in this room want to call somebody up and tell them what she told me yesterday? Must less call me up and tell me that? But you know what? A friend loves at all times. And the lovingkindness of a friend might bring bruises, but hei hei hei.

“Offense cuts you off from God. We separate ourselves from the pipeline. I’ve never seen anything block blessings from heaven except offense.” John Bevere. John and Lisa Bevere have written incredible books. The Bait of Satan. The bait of satan is to take offense.

And again, it does not cut you off from your salvation. I know everyone in this house and we are a house of born-again believers that have received Jesus Christ as Lord. I’m not talking about your fire insurance. I’m not talking about your new birth.

But I’m talking about what Danette was talking about, where you sit with the Lord and you hear his heart and his voice and his counsel to you; and you pick up the Word of God and it comes alive. And that word comes off the page and begins to speak to you as a rhema word for your situation. And you know that God is speaking to you, Ms. Rachel, and it’s alive. It’s alive.

Offense cuts off your pipeline. It doesn’t change your sonship. But it certainly does affect your communication. And it’s not on God’s part, because he is ever ready to receive you.

George Whitefield was a preacher when our nation was young. He said, It is a poor sermon that gives no offense that neither makes the hearer displeased with himself nor with the preacher.

I gave out rocks today so please don’t begin to hurl them this way, at me. I don’t want that Paul experience today. I would live but I would not necessarily like it. That is not why you have the rock!

But it goes back to the heart of the matter. There are going to be things that come out of this place that are potentially going to offend you. And I’m talking about given in the right spirit. Jesus said, I came to bring a sword. And when the Sword of the Spirit begins to go forth, it is going to judge the thoughts and the attitudes of your heart. The entrance of his Word brings light. And our response rather than run from the Lord, because he is the God of love, is to run to him, and present ourselves to him.

If it offends you then it is a good indicator that you probably have an issue there. That’s just the truth. That’s just the humankind.

I Samuel 25 Now Samuel died and all Israel assembled and mourned for him; and they buried him at his home in Ramah. Then David moved down in the Desert of Maon.

A certain man of Maon, who had property there at Carmel, was very wealthy. He had a thousand goats and three thousand sheep, which he was shearing in Carmel. His name was Nabal and his wife’s name was Abigail. She was an intelligent and beautiful woman, but her husband was surly and mean in his dealings—he was a Calebite.

I think his reputation preceded him. Abigail’s name means, The Father’s Joy.

While David was in the desert, he heard that Nabal was shearing sheep. So he sent ten young men and said to them, ‘Go up to Nabal at Carmel and greet him in my name. Say to him: “Long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours!

“Now I hear that it is sheep-shearing time. When your shepherds were with us, we did not mistreat them, and the whole time they were at Carmel nothing of theirs was missing. Ask your own servants and they will tell you. Therefore be favorable towards my men, since we come at a festive time. Please give your servants and your son David whatever you can find for them.”’

When David’s men arrived, they gave Nabal this message in David’s name. Then they waited.

I want to pause here because I’m seeing something. They weren’t asking for the best of the best. They were asking him to give, Whatever you can find. Your men have been out here working and we’re a mighty army and we’ve really been protecting you all this time, when we could have just taken what we wanted.

Nabal answered David’s servants, ‘Who is this David? Who is this son of Jesse? Many servants are breaking away from their masters these days. Why should I take my bread and water, and the meat I have slaughtered for my shearers, and give it to men coming from who knows where?’

David’s men turned around and went back. When they arrived they reported every word. David said to his men, ‘Each of you strap on your sword!’ So they did and David strapped his on as well. About four hundred men went up with David, while two hundred stayed with the supplies.

One of the servants told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, ‘David sent messengers from the desert to give our master his greetings, but he hurled insults at them. Yet these men were very good to us. They did not mistreat us, and the whole time we were out in the fields near them nothing was missing.

Night and day they were a wall around us the whole time we were herding our sheep near them. Now think it over and see what you can do, because disaster is hanging over our master and his whole household. He is such a wicked man that no one can talk to him.’

You think he had anger management issues? I think so.

Abigail acted quickly. She took two hundred loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five dressed sheep, five seahs of roasted grain, a hundred cakes of raisins and two hundred cakes of pressed figs, and loaded them on donkeys. Then she told her servants, ‘Go on ahead; I’ll follow you.’ But she did not tell her husband Nabal.

As she came riding her donkey into a mountain ravine, there were David and his men descending towards her, and she met them. David had just said, ‘It’s been useless—all my watching over this fellow’s property in the desert so that nothing of his was missing. He has paid me back evil for good. May God deal with David, be it ever so severely, if by morning I leave alive one male of all who belong to him!’

You think he was offended? Was it righteous indignation? Yes. It was. It was not right. But at the same time, David had an offense. How many of you have done good for people, for children, for families, for Joe blow on the street, and what you do for them they end up paying you back evil for good? We have all had that. We’ve had that with family members thinking this time it’s going to be different only to have them do the same things again and you feel like, What in the world am I doing this for? I’m just beating my head against the wall. Am I stupid? And it’s a place an offense can come in. We have a choice whether we’re going to respond right or wrong.

:23 When Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her donkey and bowed down before David with her face to the ground. She fell at his feet and said: ‘Pardon your servant, my lord, and let me speak to you; hear what your servant has to say. Please pay no attention, my lord, to that wicked man Nabal. He is just like his name—his name means Fool, and folly goes with him. And as for me, your servant, I did not see the men my lord sent.

Now this is an intercessory act. She has just fallen on the ground in front of a mighty warrior. There are exceptions. Obviously she had the unction from the Lord to go and do what she did. And she is interceding not just for herself but for her husband and the entire household.

And now, my lord, as surely as the Lord your God lives and as you live, since the Lord has kept you from bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hands, may your enemies and all who are intent on harming my lord be like Nabal. And let this gift, which your servant has brought to my lord, be given to the men who follow you.

‘Please forgive your servant’s offense, presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles, and no wrongdoing will be found in you as long as you live.

Even though someone is pursing you to take your life, the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling.

She recognized that what David was coming to do was wrong-doing. He was mad and he was about to avenge himself on his enemy. And she appeals to him. And she has an appeal from heaven for him. You want to be the Devastating Diva? Or do you want to Choose Life and be bound securely in the bundle of Life in the Lord? You want the bundle of Life, you hear me?

Because I do know this, if you and I will respond correctly, even in the most gross circumstances of offense, our God will rise up in our defense. Because our struggle is not against flesh and blood. It’s against the rulers and authorities and powers of darkness and spirits of wickedness in high places. And the only safe place is a life of abiding in the Lord as he is in us.

In a place where we don’t allow the enemy to run and traffick through us. The word of the Lord out of her mouth was, You’ve been distracted. And you have been pulled down more into the earthly realm than the heavenly realm. You can’t function here, Betty, and release out of you what the Body needs.

My focus and my fix is on the Lord, and if any of you know that, that doesn’t mean I’m so heavenly minded that I’m no earthly good. I want to be heavenly minded and earthly good, because you can chew gum, rub our stomach, and pat your head, and do it all at one time. I’m a multi-task girl. But my citizenship is above and His Word is my life.

And if that shifts because I’m distracted or putting out fires or dealing with offense and stuff, that’s not where the Lord wants me to be focused—nor you.

He wants us to sit with him in the quietness and the stillness and hear his voice and his heart on the matter, and the put the Word on it. Because the Word works.

:30 When the Lord has fulfilled for my lord every good thing he promised concerning him and has appointed him ruler over Israel, my lord will not have on his conscience the staggering burden of needless bloodshed or of having avenged himself. And when the Lord your God has brought my lord success, remember your servant.’

Basically what the Lord is saying, and it’s not just a word she made up, because it has come to me and come to me. When we did the 70, it platformed us as a national ministry. I had people at the meeting in Oxford coming up to me, You wrote the 70. God is still using that. That gives me Holy Ghost goose bumps, and not in pride, but in, I just wanted to go under the table.

I don’t want to dishonor, or I don’t want to stand in those places and have my conscience stricken. The Lord is saying at this time, How much more will the blood of Jesus cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death so that we may serve the Living God? This is a reset and a realignment in the house. And I don’t care what level you or I have been offended, what circumstance, even if they did the deal, it is like, Drop your rocks.

The rocks that I gave you this morning came out of the garden that I made, the money I received for Mother’s Day and my birthday. It’s really beautiful and I’m thankful to the Lord. We live at 40 Clairmont Circle. The number 40 can represent 40 days in the wilderness or 40 years. Our street is Clairmont. It means Clear View.

The Lord has brought you and me to a place to look at him, look through his lens, and to face our self; and rather than hurling our stones at other people and even ourselves, to look in the mirror and let him show, not just what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside. That rock represents whether you’re going to do the two to three more years or the 40 years, or you’re going into your promises. And you need to take it home with you. You hear what I’m saying? It’s been sitting in the Clear View Land at 40.

I’m going in. And I can guarantee you, in the coming days my address is going to change. And 416 East Pine—416 in Strong’s; this is the Father’s House. And if I don’t let Him be God in here, and if I don’t say it the way he says it, and I’m misrepresenting him, then we’re in trouble. Love speaks the truth. Love speaks the truth.

But love is patient. It’s kind. It’s not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrong. It’s time for us to get moving. I hear the Lord saying, Don’t read any more. You’re good there.

The rest of the story is that Nabal ends up having a stroke or some kind of issue and he ends up dying ten days later. Then God causes David to invite Abigail to be his wife. God has a way of working all things for the good.

Galatians 5:11-12 MSG. If I were preaching that old message, no one would be offended if I mentioned the Cross now and then—it would be so watered-down it wouldn’t matter one way or the other. Why don’t these agitators, obsessive as they are about circumcision, go all the way and castrate themselves!

Think that was a hard statement? Think people got offended? Probably so. You might hear words like that. But you’re going to have to recognize the spirit in which they’re spoken, whether it’s coming to me or all of us, and let God have his way. And if it doesn’t pertain to us, we’ll just keep moving. But if it snags you, tags you, accept what God is saying.

I think one thing we’ve missed in the Body is this message on love. I’m all about the love of God and the grace of God, but love is not a license to sin. And love is not saying, Well God worked it out the way he wanted to. No, he didn’t. God has an original intent with my life, and I can tell you I’ve not lived that original intent in every decision I’ve made. But praise God for the Navigator—Rerouting, Rerouting, Rerouting. She’s got incoming. Get up that shield. Get her out of that mess. Can you imagine what they’re doing and what the Cloud of Witnesses is saying?— What are they doing? Don’t do that. Don’t say that. Let’s work with heaven and not work with the devil.

I don’t know who this person is, obviously related to someone dealing with people coming out of addiction.

You forgive what you can, when you can. That’s all you can do. To forgive does not mean overlooking the offense and pretending it never happened. Forgiveness means releasing our rage and our need to retaliate, no longer dwelling on the offense, the offender, and the suffering, and rising to a higher love.

That’s what she was talking about. You’ve got people speaking into your ears about circumstances and situations, and if you focus on that stuff, you’re not going to be up here. You’re going to be snagged in the offense. So, again:

To forgive does not mean overlooking the offense and pretending it never happened. Forgiveness means releasing our rage and our need to retaliate, no longer dwelling on the offense, the offender, and the suffering, and rising to a higher love.

And I want to tell you, I do believe in boundaries, okay? Boundaries are healthy and they’re God. So don’t just think you’re not acting love if you don’t have boundaries in your life. Talk with some families that have dealt with addiction and you’ll find out what boundaries are. Boundaries are love.

Even Adam and Eve had boundaries. This is the month where you find your alignment, your assignment, and God reveals the boundaries or the spheres that you’re going to move in.

It is an act of letting go so that we ourselves can go on. Sue Monk Kidd.

And that’s where we are. God does not want you and me to be stuck. And in the ungodly cycles.

I saw this. It was a pretty cool picture this morning. (See powerpoint) It’s Strategy. I saw the Offense can be a strategy and it’s redemptive, or it’s going to bring death to you. So there is a picture of a strategy, and it looked like to me a Tree of Life. It’s our vision, our mission. Our seven strategic dimensions, our three value streams, our four key initiatives, our culture, our four core values, our principles, and our behavior.

While it’s not necessarily to whatever, this should be our Brand. All of us in this house should have core values. As believers I can tell you that we have a core value. It is, Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your mind, and all of your strength; and love your neighbor as yourself.

Our gifts operate in love. We speak the truth in love. Faith worketh by love. Love is the core value. Get on the love boat, okay? Anna said to me later when I shared with her what was going on, she’s like, What is wrong? Mother, you looked like someone had poured cold water over you. I said, Well, I’d just gotten out of the car after an hour of processing what had been said. And she was not mean or ugly at all. She was like, I just hate to say this.

Anna. It made me feel better because when I saw her, I was like, Oh God, what did it do? (Laugher!)

Betty. I went to Tractor Supply, the plow store. There were some young men and a few ladies our front from the City of Refuge and they were taking donations for those coming out of addiction, for a hundred man facility. I just gave a donation and didn’t want anything off the table, and he said, Oh, no mam, I want you to have this. I know you, don’t I? Are you a teacher?

I said, No, my husband and I are in the ministry. I said, How old are you? He said, I’m 40. 40? It was a whole table of plaques and he said, Let me give you two of these. Let me pick them out. The first thing he gave me, She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25. I don’t want any fear of the future. And then, And now these three remain, Faith, Hope, and Love; but the greatest of these is Love. I thought, Are you talking to me?

I don’t have to fear the future. God knows I don’t want two or three more years. I told Anna—and I know by the grace of God I could—I said, I don’t think I could do two or three more years waiting. Because I have been waiting for 30 years to get where we are right now. And I do not despise the day of small things, but I believe he is going to transform cities. And I believe the captives are going to be set free, and the addicts and those in bondages of all kinds. We haven’t seen anything yet. But God.

Check this out. Anna came up to me and I shared what Wanda has shared yesterday, and she said, Mother, do you know what the Lord showed me this morning? Offense is presumption. Little did I know that when I pulled the scripture, here:

I Samuel 25:28. Please forgive your servant’s offense, for the Lord will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my master, because he fights the Lord’s battles. Let no wrongdoing be found in you as long as you live. NIV

I Samuel 25:28. Please forgive your servant’s presumption.

Nabal was offended. Nabal acted in presumption. But in the same course of the event taking place, David was offended. You had a righteous offense and an unrighteous offense. You want to be driving the miracle vehicle, a Devastating Diva as the Church; or do you want to Choose Life?

:29 “Even though someone is pursuing you to take you life; the life of my master will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God. But the lives of your enemies he will hurl away as from the pocket of a sling.” NIV

In other words, there might be an enemy bearing down on you, and breathing out threats and hurling stones, but if you will respond correctly, your life is going to be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord.

We need to heed this word. Proverbs 17:9. He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

Quit telling your offenses to people. I know how this works. You’re with somebody and there’s something you know you ought not say. You do this thing and think for a minute  and lean in and decide God is going to let you tell them because you really want to tell them. So you say, Well, He says I can tell you this but don’t tell anybody. Most of the time that is not the truth. That’s just because you wanted to tell it. So quit separating people by repeating and rehearsing what’s been said to you.

Danette and I have not talked, and she talked about saying stuff and getting on the phone and giving the enemy ammunition. You get shot because you put it into his hands by what comes out of your mouth. Me first.

Proverbs 19:11. A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

The Lord says in Ephesians 4:26, In anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your anger and do not give place to the enemy.

There are two songs I heard this morning as I stepped outside. What I want to encourage all of us to do, because I took Wanda’s word and there were portions of how she said it—the first portion was, Yes that did hit me. Yes, that did offend me, but I dealt with that. And then I saw as I sat with the Lord and as I slept on it, when I got up I had revelation of other places of offense.

I want you to continue to stand for Kimble’s dad, Dr. Love. We got a call at 1 a.m. His blood pressure had bottomed out and Kimble went to him. So I ended up with the whole bed. When I woke up this morning I had a little white feather hanging in my hair like these little girls wear. I thought, That is too funny! I know where it came from, my feather pillow. I forgot it and sat with the Lord, so when I went to get ready, that white feather was still in my hair.

Anna had not left so I said, I think I had an encounter with the Holy Ghost last night because I got a feather out of the deal. But I woke up changed. Anna was my sounding board this morning and she said, Mother, I have pondered all of this and I saw how things you came through, you didn’t even think a thing about it. And then recently there have been a couple of things you came through, you went through the exact same thing last year. You didn’t even think about it then. But this time it stung you. And I said, Yeah, I saw the same thing.

It’s like doing everything right, and getting down to the promised land. I’m not talking about right in myself but letting God rule in you. It’s not IF offense comes, but WHEN it comes. It’s going to come. And it can either be Training Ground that become security for you or it can be a disaster. It’s how you’re going to process it. It’s how you’re going to respond.

You might need to do the 10-10-10 thing. I found that out this week. Wait 10 minutes. Process the decision. What is it going to look like 10 minutes from now if I say this or do this? Ten months from now, what is it going to look like? And then ten years? 10-10-10. By the time you do a 10-10-10, our response might be different.

So we’re going to present our members unto him a living sacrifice. We’re going to do what the Word of God says. Because we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every sin, anything that would so easily entangle us, and let us run the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him, he did not despise or scorn the cross.

An offense in Greek comes from the word where we get scandalize or scandalous. It means to entrap, to trip up, to stumble or entice, to sin, apostasy, a displeasure; to put a stumbling block or impediment in the way, upon which another may trip and fall. To be a stumbling block, to entice, to sin, to cause a person to begin to distrust and desert one who he ought to trust and obey. To cause one to feel displeasure of a thing or make a judgment.

I believe the Lord wants to deal with any offense that you might have in your life. And it might not stop in this room. But I believe if you and I will be open to him, he is going to come in and he is going to realign our entire spirit, soul, and body. And he is going to take the walls of hostility, even with other leaders, even with family members. And the blood of Jesus is going to tear down that wall of hostility. He’s ready to bring reconciliation in families, and in relationships.

And you’re the key because you’ve heard the word. What will you do with it? He wants to restore to you and me the joy of our salvation and create in us a pure heart. And realign us with his heart, with his mind, his counsel. So our part is not to do it ourselves, because we can’t do it. He said, See to it that no one misses the grace of God and no bitter root grows up and defiles many.

Grace is in the room today. The love of God is in the room today. If you have regret. If you have condemnation. If you desire, as Paul, to cut the cord on the past and leave it there and let the blood of Jesus cover it, let the love of God be shed abroad in your heart and bring healing and wholeness. He wants to change our minds today. So we fix our eyes on you Jesus.

We set our hearts and minds on things above where we’re seated at the right hand of God the Father in Christ. We fix our thoughts on Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our faith. We present our members unto you a living sacrifice, and as we worship, Lord, let your presence fill us. Let your Holy Spirit speak to our hearts and reveal what’s there, Lord.

Father, I repent before this house and those watching, any place that I have been offended in the Body of Christ, or I’ve been offended by an individual, Lord, any place that I have misrepresented you and not spoken the truth in love, but spoken the truth fueled by Betty’s anger, Lord, I repent. And I ask you and I ask the Body to forgive me. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness.

?Realign us. Reset us. Restore me, Lord. Come again again.

Father, we have come to bow down in worship. Lifting up our hearts we bow down in praise. Hallelujah. Lover of my soul. Hallelujah. With all of heaven we are singing.

All the angels cry, Holy is the Lord God. All the earth replies, Holy are you. Jesus.

Jesus, my Jesus. Extravagant. It doesn’t make sense. I’ll never comprehend the way you love us. It’s unthinkable. Only heaven knows just how far you’ve gone to say you love us. Here is all my love. It’s yours. No conditions. When you hold me close, no, I won’t resist it.

Betty. So Father, right here right now. We receive your love and your grace and your mercy. And Lord, first, if we have an offense toward you, Lord, I ask you to forgive us. If we have unforgiveness toward ourselves, toward you, toward other believers, family members, non-believers, I ask you to go to the very core of our beings and uproot, tear down, destroy, and completely overthrow unforgiveness, offense, bitterness, resentment, hatred, even murder, hopelessness, everything that is attached to that thing, what we’ve experienced and gone through that has brought such a root and corrupted our heart; but it’s not corrupted your Word, because your Word is incorruptible. And we have been born again of incorruptible seed through the living and enduring Word of God.

So as we sang extravagant, and we cried out holy, we ask you to separate us unto yourself once again, even though we’ve really not been separated—just in our thoughts and our actions. Lord, drop your plumb line of righteousness, and truth and love within us. And realign and reset our hearts to be one with you. Bring healing to the places of hurt and injury, and disappointment, and even hope deferred places.

Put us back together and reset. Lord, release us from trauma in our mind, will and emotion. Take those weapons and rehearsals and past experience. Lord, let them be erased by the blood of Jesus. And Lord, we embrace the grace to forgive. We embrace the grace to cut the cord, forgetting those things that are behind. To repent and change our mind that times of refreshing would come upon us once again. And that your breath and your life would so infuse and fill us and revision us and restore us, so that we can occupy and possess the promises and the spheres of influence that you have ordained for us.

I speak life and blessing over this body and these people, and those that are connected, and those that are watching. Lord, today I thank you that this is a mile marker. And I thank you that your voice will be upon our waters and go with us as we go home.

And Lord, if we need Holy Ghost encounters in the night so that we are going to wake up with a changed mind, we say take hold of the reins of our hearts and turn our hearts unto righteousness. And let your glory and your grace abound in us that we walk and live free from offense and we walk in the love of God and in that place of abiding.

Father, thank you for the words and the worship and the sounds and the songs that you released here today from beginning to end. Take this word and seal it in our hearts and let it accomplish what you sent it to do. In the name of Jesus Christ and by the blood of the Lamb. Amen and Amen. Praise God.
