70 Days – Day 12

To the Righteous Remnant

Day 12

THE RIGHTEOUS INTERCESSOR

To the Remnant Rising,

“…Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant… because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because He always lives to intercede for them.”(Hebrews 7:22-25; NIV)

“You showed favor to your land, O Lord; you restored the fortunes of Jacob. You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. Selah. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger.

Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure toward us. Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations? Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?  Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation.

I will listen to what God the Lord will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints — but let them not return to folly.  Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.

Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.  The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.  Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” (Psalm 85:1-13; NIV)

Our Righteous Intercessor will receive his reward. It is to the Father’s glory that we bear fruit and fruit that stands showing ourselves to be His disciples. Today, be encouraged with the fact that Jesus Christ always gets His prayers answered. The Lord has given us His word and His decree to shift this nation of America! Harvest is upon us! “The Lord will indeed give what is good and our land will yield its harvest.”

Raising Up Righteousness,

Prayer Points:

  • Read, meditate, and come into agreement with the Scriptures above.
  • Come into agreement with the intercession of Jesus that He is releasing over us personally, corporately, territorially, and generationally.
  • Come into agreement with the intercession of Jesus Christ over our nation and the Church of America.
  • Decree the Scriptures above into your land and spheres of influence.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you for our Righteous Intercessor who is looking down from heaven. Jesus, you are the guarantee of a better covenant. We agree with your word, “because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore, He is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because He always lives to intercede for them.”(Hebrews 7:25; NIV) Lord, we ask that a Spirit of repentance would be poured out upon your church and this nation of America.  Forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Draw this nation with your cords of loving-kindness. Restore us again, O God our Savior, put away your displeasure toward us as a nation. Revive us again and restore us that we may live in your presence. Show us your unfailing love and grant us your salvation. Lord, let us draw near to listen, hear and obey your voice so that we will not return to our folly. Let the fear of the Lord come upon your people and this nation, that your glory may dwell in our land. We decree your word into our territories, tents, treasuries, spheres of influence, cities, states, and nation: “Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.  The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest.  Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.” (Psalm 85:10-13; NIV) In Your Name Jesus, Amen!
