OUR INTERCESSOR
To the Remnant Rising,
“Even now, my witness is in heaven; my advocate is there on high.” (Job 16:19; CJB)
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all — how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died — more than that, who was raised to life — is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

- Let’s give all glory to God that we have a witness on high, an advocate, and a faithful intercessor in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Thank God that He works all things for the good of those that love Him who are called according to His purpose.
- Receive the intercession of Jesus Christ into your life and thank Him for His faithfulness to intercede for you.
- Thank God that He is conforming us to the image of Christ Jesus, His Son.
- Acknowledge God’s redemptive purpose for America and ask Him to work all things for the good of this nation.
- Thank the Lord that we are faithfully fulfilling His purpose in intercession in our spheres of influence and this nation.
- Thank the Lord that He has made us “more than conquerors” through him who loves us.
Prayer:
Father, we give you all glory and thanksgiving that you have given us a witness on high, an advocate and a faithful intercessor in our Lord Jesus Christ. Let this be revelatory to each one of us. We agree with Your Word that You are working all things for the good of those that love You and are called according to Your purpose. Conform us to the image of Your Son, Jesus. Lord Jesus, we agree and receive Your intercession into our lives and land. We come into agreement and acknowledge Your redemptive purpose for America. We ask You to work all thing for the good of this nation. What the enemy has meant for our destruction, let it be overthrown and turned for the saving of many lives. Lord, continue to raise up your righteous remnant in this nation and cause us to faithfully fulfill your purpose in intercession in our land. We are more than conquerors through you, Jesus. Thank you for your extravagant love and faithful intercession for your people. In Christ, Amen!
